How did Shane Victorino outvote Pablo Sandoval for the All-Star Game?

I know defensively that Victorino is a much better player than Sandoval. Offensively, there is a huge discrepancy. Shame on you MLB fans! Sandoval was the clear choice to make the final cut. East Coast bias! Totally!
