Why does everyone think that the people detained (and usually convicted of terrorism) deserve the same rights?

People who want to treat terrorists like humans are stupid. They are evil animals who kill innocent people and deserve no compion. anything that happens to them in Gitmo or in US custody is their fault for fighting for the terrorists.
