What do i say to this women....?

well it all started when a women from my sons school came over to talk to me and tell me she had been beaten up by her long term partner she had a black eye and then some...she played on my attention for a while and ofcourse i felt terrible for her, but always thought there was something not right in what she was telling me, so we have gone on like this for over three months, and then it was in the paper that in fact it was her that had done the beating and he was did it for self defence, it turns out he had called the police 10 times before because of her violent behaviour and nothing had happened, now he has been arrested and done in ocurt for smacking her back, the dilema is that i am outspoken and cant believe what she has done and not to make things worse WHAT DO I SAY????
