Can you name some famous atheists who had a non-Christian background, but brought up with another religion?

I am an atheist myself, originally brought up as Church of England, then I saw the light (no pun intended). And I have met many other atheists who were either brought up as an atheist (lucky sods) or like myself, had been CoE (I've not even met an ex-quaker, or methodist or catholic). I've not met an atheist say from a Muslim or Jewish or Hindu background.
