Is the hockey stick graph real?

Actually there are several graphs from several sources that indicate a correlation between rising CO2 levels and temperatures. While none of these trend lines really look like a 'hockey stick' the overall movement of CO2, the heat index and the supporting data are beyond doubt. Why anyone would want to deny the obvious is a great mystery. I suspect that once the 'deniers' backed themselves into this opposition movement they left themselves no reasonable way to backtrack without having to admit that their arch enemy, Al Gore was right and they were wrong. Have you ever heard of one of the right wing radio dummies returning from the 'dark side'? I rest my case!
