Is this a problem that should prevent me from buying this house?

I am in the preliminary stages of buying my first house. I contacted a realtor and she has begun doing research on a specific house for which I am interested. She forwarded me the "Property Condition Disclosure Statement." On it, the seller discloses that there is a "very slight bow in the basement wall." It has been there since 1977, when he first bought the house, and he claims that the bow hasn't gotten worse in the 30+ years he's been in the house. The house was built in 1945 and is outside Buffalo, NY (winter climate). Is this a serious problem, or is it not a big deal since it has remained unchanged for so long? I still plan on an inspection, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this problem.
